I've been beekeeping for 8 years
I can't stop talking about honey bees to everyone I meet
I have an infectious laugh
and I own four adorable goats, not including my partner, Matt

I love our podcast which is great mix of information, experience and laughter. Rebecca and I have a great time talking about honey bees, beekeeping and taking the mystery out of of beekeeping techniques and terms.

Hello! My name is Rebecca; I am the owner of Eastside Honey Bee Management. I am an Advanced Master Beekeeper in The Texas Master Beekeeper Program focusing on beekeeping education, and I currently hold the vice president position of the Northeast Texas Beekeepers Association (netbabeeks.org). 

I have a passion for beekeeping, and my favorite place to be is out in my bee yards. When I'm not out inspecting my hives, I'm continuing my education through research and beekeeping volunteer opportunities. Beekeeping is multidimensional and requires the ability to be flexible through management, research, education, and experience. I love that beekeeping brings me closer to nature.
